Let me tell you a secret,
You must tell no one.
If you do, you will see
What it then becomes.
You don’t want to hear it,
It should strike you dumb,
But the urge to tell
Will soon overwhelm.
What if I told you
It grows every time
You sneak away to speak?
It will entrap you.
What if I mentioned
The only way,
That you can contain it,
Somehow stands beyond you?
Do you still want to know
This dark little secret,
Or would you rather it pass,
Silent through the night?
Let me tell you in secret,
I have justly warned you,
It will never hide, and
You can no longer decide.

I write to communicate, and connect, and hopefully spread compassion. We all need encouragement these days, especially the “least” among us.
Your support is a great help to me, making it possible for me to continue writing and extend beyond the poems into future music efforts.
Thank you to all who take the time to read and connect.
