A Shared Moral Order
Lead with reason and honor
A Triolet Poem of Resistance

A shared moral order
Once ruled the day,
Not a bribery extorter,
A shared moral order,
With supporters and reporters,
Who were allowed their say,
A shared moral order
Once ruled the day!
Our current society is just only to the extent that one set of humans (the few and powerful) leads, honors, protects, and supports the others.
In an unjust society, those few dominate, subjugate, and abuse the others to meet their selfish needs for power, acquisition, and glory.
We have a choice: to build a moral order based on compassion or one driven by extreme individualistic necessity.
Triolet
A triolet is a traditional French single-stanza poem of eight lines with a rhyme scheme of ABAAABAB; The first line is repeated as the fourth and seventh line, and the second line is repeated as the eighth line. With only five unique lines, it must be thoughtfully written to work well.
