Mountain’s
High
Towers
Enrapture
Their gaze
As the haze
Begins to drift,
Slowly lifts
Far below them
Along the treeline.
And they question
What this has meant
For humble folk as they
Foolish and worn gray
To approach this summit,
Dare its high and rare ascent.
These magnificent spires
Somehow survived the distress
