The sounds of early dawn call you
Bells ring through the streets,
Resonate the cobblestone,
Awaken the dawn.
The bells ring true, sweet.
Solemn people slowly go
’Cross this sacred lawn.
They do not know you,
Cannot recognize your face,
For you are not they -
And yet these bells do
Ring as true in calling you
