Damage
Ignorance and hatred
A Hard Rock Blues Lyric

Damage, when does it stop, do we make the changes, bring its abrupt end, or try to pretend that nothing matters.
Damage started at the top, trickled its way down, worked its way through all the way to me and you, leaves us all in tatters.
Tell me, if you please why do we tolerate this drive to insanity, travesty and hate?Tell me, if you please, how we became so second-rate, full of fake and inane things, while claiming to be great?
Damage, our honor now is spent, grow accustomed to the lies, trade the truth for ignorance, turn the love that we once knew to a diatribe of hate.
Damage has led to our demise, emancipation captured, no sensible nor wise message we can send to young, innocent eyes.
Tell me, if you please why do we tolerate this drive to insanity, travesty and hate?Tell me, if you please, how we became so second-rate, full of fake and inane things, while claiming to be great?
