They shuttered all the windows 
And bolted tight the doors 
Taken down the scaffolds 
As the bombs rain down once more
Racking fierce the hallowed floor 
I plead, our Holy Lady
Save us from this wretched war 
Lift the burden, keep us free 

I see the looming shadows 
As the tanks roll …
