A Villanelle

I wander,
Lost in the wood,
Reality ponder.
Squirrels scatter,
Through the leaves underfoot,
I wander.
Birds welcome the newcomer,
At home in their roosts,
Reality ponder.
The brook meanders,
Flows where it would,
I wander.
Flowers flutter
In their arbored nook,
Reality ponder.
Soon ends the summer,
This search for the good,
I wander,
Reality ponder.
Rediscovering good is a worthwhile effort in these days of great anxiety.

Again, Bravo, the warm and comfortable essence of these words is amazing...maybe a melody will arise...
