A Haiku poem set
There are no strangers,
for mercy is compassion,
Love suffocates hate.
A day of death comes,
we must enter the abyss,
but we shall rise then.
The least among us
are destined to be the great,
the proud fall away.
It will not be long;
what feels to be forever
will pass in a blink.
For Love still knows us,
has never left us alone,
resides in our souls.
Will you believe this,
or will you fall to despair,
no matter, Grace is
there to hold us up,
take us in until the end,
Life banishes death!
Do you see the Light
that flashes through the darkness,
watch its sparks of Fire!
All is never lost,
though it may fade from our sight,
Love alone remains.
Note from the visual artist: “Alhaq” — the Truth. 11 x 19 watercolor on watercolor paper.
This painting is about a light that may not be extinguished…a truth that transcends time, and love that has no equal. I dedicate this to Mawlai Alhallaj.
Please spend ample time looking and deciphering what is there. It has your name and your face. It has your eyes and your breath. It has you… it has your … LIGHT. _ Moh’d Bilbeisi, 2017
