Tomorrow conspires to bring relief

I sit and wait,
Prepare for the new day,
Not knowing now what is to come,
But yet …
But yet
I am at peace,
Peace that moves in silence,
True and sure abiding presence
Sets in…
Sets in
Takes its right place,
Past grief and all concern,
The fate of the unexpected
Abates …
Abates,
Now simply fades
So much …
