the wire,
pulsate,

roars,
flames engulf
metal

beat to shape,
cast in
burning
prison.

Children,
faces,
abandoned,
frightened,
alone,

fathers,
mothers,
disappeared
in distant
prisons.

Artisans,
musicians,
in the streets,
resistance,
as if one

instrument
of change,
shouting down
the guards of
prison.

energies,
human strength
