Slowly Step Ahead
A time for silence beckons
A Haiku String — Write Under the Moon
Entrusted, given
this clear opportunity,
so often squandered,
Engaged, emboldened,
our responsibility
overwhelms, maunders
Near incoherent,
having talked incessantly,
when silence, instead
From within beckons,
asking for its grace, setting
back torrid senses.
Muted, relented,
Now must rest this reckless speech,
hearing stillness, tread
Quiet, traversing
through these golden blossoms, we
slowly step ahead.
