Who else has it been
who has taken you,
the enemy within.

How did he pretend,
keep you from the proof,
Who else has it been?

What is his defense,
what lies did he tell you,
the enemy within?

How did you contend,
and give him his due,
Who else has it been?

Disguised as a friend,
he crafted the ruse,
the enemy within.

You grew content
with the absence of Truth,
Who else has it been,
the enemy within.
