Afraid to take to flight
With wings untested in the night,
And wounds
Such wounds,
Fate’s prisoner
In pain’s relentless fear,
Unable to let go the rope,
Enslaved
Enslaved,
Tied to this place
Where memories erase,
Haunt eyes unable to break through
The veil
