There is no recourse,
No hand left to play,
The plan of last resort.
They hold the greater force,
They control the game,
There is no recourse.
No salient reports,
No arguments to weigh,
The plan of last resort.
No letters left to sort,
As clear as midday,
There is no recourse.
No justice in the courts,
No judgments to stay,
The plan of last resort.
Check the passports,
No reason for delay,
There is no recourse,
The plan of last resort.
Many good people in America are considering their options. Do they continue to fight against impossible odds, or do they find their way to a saner place and time?
The issue is that the problem does not cease to exist, if all the good people acquiesce to the dictatorship that we see forming before our eyes. And the problem is very much an international one, that cannot be escaped.
Its effects can only be personally mitigated and delayed for a time.
The administration is exercising orders that effectively give them the power of martial law. And who in Congress is doing a thing about it?
Who is protecting the poor, the marginalized, the weak, the disabled, the old, those without power or status?
It is time for a new plan. Please share your thoughts. Let’s make a ruckus!-
