We Cry

We cry,
Have you ever
Wondered why?

Is it weak,
As I was taught
When I was young?

What does it mean,
To not contain
Our feeling?

Is it too frail
To weep, to be
Human?

We fail to see
This simply
Cannot be.

Suffering
Is felt,
And only then
Released.

This is a very simple poem, which should be read slowly and more than once before its meaning becomes clear.
