Reflection Poem on Writing

What do I have to say
No one has said before?
How might I speak today
A word that might endure?
Better to be silent,
Yet on and on I go,
Books upon the mantel
Less silly stories told.
Philosophic moments,
Catastrophic notions.
I sit and take it in,
The useless chatter wins
My true voice lies hidden,
For me to find a hint.
Thank you for taking the time to read! I deeply appreciate your support.
